Terms of Service — Laura's Latin Love (Cita con Laura)

1. Acceptance

By using Laura's Latin Love ("the app," "the game"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What the app is

Laura's Latin Love is a Spanish-language-learning game presented as a dating simulation with a fictional AI character, Laura. It's for entertainment and language practice — it does not connect you with a real person, and nothing in the app constitutes real dating, matchmaking, or a relationship service.

3. Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use this app (matches the Privacy Policy). By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

Creating an account is optional and only needed to save your progress across devices. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts used to abuse the service (e.g. attempting to exploit payment flows or automate gameplay).

5. Purchases, pricing, and refunds

• In-game style points and items can be purchased with real money via Stripe. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
• Digital content and the right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers): under EU/UK consumer law, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase. For digital content delivered immediately (like in-game points or items), that right ends as soon as delivery begins, because before every purchase you're asked to actively confirm: "I understand that my in-app purchase will be delivered to me immediately, and I agree that by confirming this purchase I give up my 14-day right of withdrawal for this digital content." Purchases will not be processed without this confirmation.
• Purchases are generally final once delivered, except as required by law or the consent flow above.
• If a payment fails to deliver the purchased item/points due to a technical error, contact us at hola.laurasantiago@outlook.com for a fix or refund.

6. Advertising

The app shows optional rewarded video ads (via Google Ad Manager) that grant in-game rewards for watching. Ads are never required to play the core game. Ad content is selected by Google and subject to Google's own advertising policies, not ours.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or scrape the app; use automated tools/bots to play or farm rewards; attempt to abuse payment or ad-reward flows; or use the app in any way that violates applicable law.

8. Content and intellectual property

All game content — art, writing, characters (including Laura), music, and code — is owned by us or licensed to us, except third-party services (Stripe, Supabase, Google) which retain their own rights. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from game content without permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet every expectation. Language content is for educational practice — while we aim for accuracy, don't treat it as a substitute for professional translation or interpretation in high-stakes situations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50, whichever is greater, except where applicable law does not permit such a limitation.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts. For consumers based elsewhere in the EU, mandatory consumer-protection rules of their own home country may still apply regardless of this clause.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, show an in-app notice.
